Misty has only just started her show career but in this short time, she has won several Baby in Group awards. Her bloodlines are the result of many years of line breeding and success in the show ring. Her grandfather is a Speciality Best in Show winner and her mother has done the breed proud in the ring with numerous wins to her credit. As she matures we hope Misty will emulate the success in the show ring, which her predecessors have bought to the kennel.
Misty is now residing and being campaigned in the show ring in Mackay, Queensland with Jo and Phillip Morris of Lyonberry Pugs.

Angel was obtained from Lynjenna Kennels to further enhance our bloodlines. Her sire is a Best Exhibit in Show Speciality winner, whose bloodlines go back to some of the famous English Pug Kennels. She is a Grand daughter of our own Grand Champion Pugmate Captain Cuddles, who’s record speaks for itself, and Australian Grand Champion Aureate Rebel who also needs no introduction to Pug fanciers.
Angel has had success in the show ring, being a Best Exhibit in Group winner at all breeds level recently.

Imogen was bred by Vickie Dwyer (Woonan Pugs & Pekingese) in Victoria. Her pedigree combines bloodlines that further enhance our existing lines within the breed and we are sure she shall be an asset to our kennel as she matures. We thank Vickie for entrusting her to us.

Priscilla has become a part of our kennel. She has been obtained from Kris Willingham in Victoria. She reinforces our existing bloodlines within the breed, but her pedigree also diversifies into other well known Pugs. Although only starting her show career, we have high hopes for this young girl. Many thanks to Coonara Pugs for letting Priscilla come to us.

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION WOONAN GYPSY ROSE - GYPSY

Gypsy came to live with us at Pugmate Kennels in 2003, at the age of 2 years.
She is the full sister to our male Pekingese, Australian Champion Woonan Carbon Copy and has become our foundation female in Pekingese producing Pugmate China Rose in 2005.
Gypsy was a class in group winner at Launceston Royal Show in 2003 winning Intermediate in Group. She was also Challenge bitch at Darwin Royal in 2003 and Runner up Best of Breed to her brother Australian Champion Woonan Carbon Copy.
Gypsy shall play a major part in establishing our bloodlines in the Pekingese breed, and shall be a important part of our foundation for the future.

Caitlyn was obtained from Cheryl Walsh (Kelchez Kennels) in Victoria. Since then she has been a consistent winner in the show ring against tough competition. Caitlyn is a Victorian Pekingese Specialty winner, winning Bitch Challenge at their Specialty Championship show in November 2006. She obtained her Australian Champion title at two years of age, and we believe the best is still to come from this quality young Pekingese.

Tasha’s sire was bred by ourselves and has shown once again the quality of his breeding in his progeny and in the conformation show ring to date. Tasha is half sister to our boy “Tenderloving Tiger Man” who is also sired by Aust Ch Pugmate Play Ta Win. Tasha has come to us from Woonan Pugs & Pekingese in Victoria to regain some of the bloodlines that we unfortunately lost when Pugmate China Rose who was Tasha’s Auntie, passed away at the end of 2007, so Tasha holds many hopes and dreams with her maturing to follow in Rosie’s footsteps. Although she has only just begun her show career, we are sure that she will do us proud in the years to come.
