Marty began his show career with multiple Baby in Show awards. In February 2003, he went to live with Cynthia & Wayne Lockhart (Tas), who showed him with considerable success obtaining multiple Best Exhibit, Runner Up Best Exhibit and a Best Exhibit in Show and numerous class in group wins at All Breeds Shows here in Tasmania.
Marty has also competed with success at Speciality level at the Pug Club of Victoria Championship Show, winning Opposite Puppy in Show in 2003 under a breed specialist.
In 2004 Marty won the Pedigree Pal Toy Dog of the year award for Tasmania and won Best Exhibit in Group at the Launceston Royal Show.
Marty is now back with us at Pugmate Kennels and has continued to show the quality of his breeding, continuing to be a consistent winner in the Toy Group as a mature dog.

Dudley is from a repeat mating of his brother, Australian Champion Pugmate Devils Majic. His sire won Best Exhibit in Show at the Victorian Pug Club Speciality Championship Show in 2003.
Dudley himself is a Runner up Best Exhibit in Group and numerous classes in group winner. He is the sire of our young girl, Pugmate Mystic Dream who has only just started her show career.
Dudley is only a young dog who is now maturing, to become another quality Pug that we are proud to have representing us in the breed. He is nearing his Australian Champion title, consistently being reserve male to his kennel mate, Australian Champion Pugmate Mr Smartie Pants.
Dudly is now the sire of Champion Progeny, Pugmate Ragtime Cowboy who is owned by Phillip & Jo Moriss in Mackay, Queenland.

Desmond is the culmination of many years of our breeding. He is a third generation of Pugmate breeding and his parentage needs no introduction to pug enthusiasts. His sire is a Multi Best in Show winning dog, his Grandfather (Ch Pugmate Lord Brodie) was also a Best in Show winner and his Great Grandfather (Grand Ch Pugmate Captain Cuddles) was one of the highest winning Pugs of his time. His mother is a producer of Champions and herself was a top winning girl in the show ring. We are sure that Desmond will shine as he matures and follows in his kennel mates footsteps of being another top winning dog from Pugmate Kennels.

Warren has joined us here at Pugmate Kennels to continue our existing relationship with Woonan Pugs & Pekingese in Victoria. Warren’s sire is a Runner up Best Exhibit in Show winner in Victoria and is stamping his progeny like Warren, with his solid attributes of the breed. Warren has already displayed his quality by winning Best Baby in Show (All Breeds) at 3mths of age. We hold high hopes for Warren as he matures, and shows the many years of accumulated line breeding that we have had considerable success with to date.

Tiger man is a welcome addition to Pugmate Kennels. His sire Australian Champion Pugmate Play Ta Win was bred by us, and he is the brother to our own Pugmate China Rose. His bloodlines are a continuation of Woonan lines that we have had tremendous success with to date. No doubt Tiger shall play an important part in our bloodlines for the future. We are very grateful to Grace & Jim Centorrino (Tenderloving Pekingese) in Victoria who have entrusted him to us and we have no doubt, Tiger has a bright future in the show ring as he matures.
